Volunteer Training Information
Volunteers have to complete volunteer training every school year. The volunteer orientation process must be completed in order to attend field trips, class events, classroom and clerical support, field day, picnics, after-school programs, mentoring, etc.
Baltimore County Public Schools’ Required Steps for Volunteering:
1. Complete the BCPS Application for Volunteer Services. Return it to our School to Community Coordinator.
2. Complete BCPS Online Volunteer Training Online. Print your certificate and return it to our School to Community Coordinator.
3. Confirm with your student’s teacher prior to the event that your application and certificate are on file at the school.
